Dear JFCC Members,

Indonesia has a youthful, tech-savvy demographic that is increasingly buying anything from gadgets to clothes online, presenting a huge opportunity for e-commerce companies such as Tokopedia, MatahariMall and Blibli.

Southeast Asia’s biggest economy, however, is still largely cash-based and a significant part of the population of 250 million does not have a credit card or even a bank account. More and more financial technology (fintech) start-ups are trying to unlock the online payment potential in the sprawling archipelago.

What does it take to be a fintech leader in Indonesia? Is the market getting crowded and is there a need for consolidation? What are the biggest risks and rewards in the fintech space? How are fintech regulations likely to shape up?

Please join the JFCC for a discussion with:

  1. Junanto Herdiawan, Acting Head of Bank Indonesia Fintech Office
  2. Piotr Jakubowski, Chief Marketing Officer at GO-JEK
  3. Niki Luhur, Chairman of Indonesia Fintech Association
  4. Adrian Gunadi, Co-Founder of Indonesian fintech start-up Investree
