About JFCC
The Jakarta Foreign Correspondents Club is a non-profit organization of international journalists based in Indonesia and Indonesian journalists working for international media. All of our officers work on a voluntary basis. The JFCC currently has more than 400 journalist and associate members. Join us if you want to network with key newsmakers, analysts, diplomats, and foreign correspondents. Attend our lunches and panel discussions featuring some of Indonesia’s most important decision-makers or just unwind at one of our social events. JFCC members receive significant discounts, but all events are open to the public.
Our primary mission is to serve the foreign journalist community but we also offer scholarships every year to local journalists to help improve their ability to report on Indonesia. Please contact one of our board members if you would like more information or to apply for a grant from our JFCC Memorial Fund. Details can be found on our Scholarship page.
