The second, annual Charity Jam was held at the Akmani Hotel in central Jakarta and was kicked off by the indie-pop band Sajama Cut (featured here) from Jakarta.
For a second year in a row, the JFCC Charity Jam featured some of the best independent music in the country: Sajama Cut, Efek Rumah Kaca (featured here) and Koil. Proceeds from the concert go every year to the JFCC Memorial Fund, whose purpose is to train Indonesian journalists
More than 200 people bought tickets for the 2011 JFCC Charity Jam. Otong – lead vocals for Koil, this year’s headliners from Bandung – took command of the full house as seen here in the closing moments of the show.
